DNS Records
The DNS Records page shows the current DNS records for a domain as seen by Palisade. Access it from the gear menu on the Domain Overview page.
What It Shows
Palisade queries and displays the following record types:
- DMARC — the
_dmarcTXT record with your DMARC policy - SPF — the SPF TXT record listing authorized senders
- DKIM — DKIM key records for known selectors
- MX — Mail Exchange records showing your mail servers
- BIMI — Brand Indicators record, if configured
- MTA-STS — MTA-STS policy record, if configured
- NS — nameserver records for the domain
Each record shows the raw DNS value as currently published. This is useful for verifying that changes made in your DNS provider have propagated correctly.
Use Cases
- Verify DNS changes — confirm that a record update is live before relying on it
- Troubleshoot issues — compare what Palisade sees with what your DNS provider shows
- Audit configuration — review all email authentication records in one place
- Share with colleagues — copy record values for reference
