Generating Whitelabel Prospection Reports

Create professional, branded PDF reports to demonstrate email security posture to prospects and clients.

Step 1: Go to the Prospecting Section

Navigate to the Prospecting section in the Palisade sidebar. This is where you create, manage, and download prospect reports.

Step 2: Create a New Report

Click New Report to start building a prospection report. Add domains to the report using either method:

  • Enter domains manually -- Type each domain name individually.
  • Paste a list -- Paste multiple domains at once, one per line.

Step 3: Configure Report Details

Customize the report to match your branding and audience:

  • Company name -- Enter the prospect's company name to personalize the report.
  • Language -- Select the report language: English (EN) or French (FR).
  • Toggle sections -- Enable or disable specific report sections to focus on what matters most for this prospect.

Step 4: Download the PDF

Once configured, generate and download the PDF report. The report includes:

  • Overall score -- A score from 0 to 100 representing the domain's email security posture.
  • Risk summary -- A high-level assessment of the domain's risk level.
  • Spoofing risk analysis -- Details on how vulnerable the domain is to email spoofing.
  • Financial loss estimate -- Potential financial impact of email security gaps.
  • Brand and trust impact -- How authentication failures can affect sender reputation.
  • Glossary -- Plain-language explanations of technical terms for non-technical audiences.

Step 5: Editing a Report

You can return to any previously created report to update domains, change the company name, adjust language settings, or toggle sections before regenerating the PDF.

Example Use Case

An MSP creates a prospection report for a potential client. The report reveals:

  • Score: 30 out of 100
  • Risk Level: Critical
  • Key findings: No DMARC policy, SPF record too permissive, no DKIM signing

The MSP uses this report in a sales meeting to demonstrate the prospect's exposure and propose Palisade as the solution.

Tips

  • Reach new customers -- Use prospection reports as a lead generation tool. Run reports for potential clients before your first meeting.
  • Customize your message -- Toggle report sections on or off to tailor the report to your audience. A technical audience may want all details; an executive audience may prefer the summary.
  • Bundle with cybersecurity packages -- Position email security alongside your other managed security services using the report as supporting evidence.
